Kellie Martin is an American TV and film actress best known for her roles as Christy Huddleston in the 'period drama''Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the Life Goes On, a family-oriented drama' and Lucy Knight in the medical drama series 'ER'. Also, Kellie is well-known for her role as the lead in The Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin's acting career started at age seven when her aunt, the former nanny who took care on the kids of Michael Landon, helped secure the role of a character in the 1982 film 'Father Murphy.' After graduating of Yale University, she took acting more seriously and landed significant roles both on the small screen and the big screen. Besides being an actress, Martin is an accomplished photographer, as well as a dancer. Being a mom to two children, she has become the National spokesperson for Lupus. She has also actively promoted Lupus since the time her sister's death from the illness at age 19.
